HEY…It’s me again….you know….the grumpy, grouchy rodeo mom from this past weekend. (Click here for more context: LOL https://shannancloud.com/10practicalwaystogrowyourgratitude/)
Just to start with…I texted my husband this morning (because I didn’t see him before I left for work) and apologized for being grouchy last night.
Before I could fall asleep, I looked back over the Scripture passage from 1 Kings 17:8-16 that LeAnn Hart preached from Sunday morning at Cowboy Church before the events started. I was too hard hearted and grumpy to take my usual “Bible Bites” notes but I knew the acronym would be O.N.E. D.A.Y. based on her sermon and the Bible passage about how God provided flour and oil for the widow one day at a time.
So after my grumpy heart confessed, I re-read the Scripture and worked on writing the Bible Bite acronym for O.N.E. D.A.Y. I have intentions of reaching out LeAnn Hart and sharing this with her but wanted to post and share here too!
This is different than what I call my “true” Bible Bite because it is just themes and topics, not specific verses that begin with each letter. But this one just kind of wrote itself after the fact. I usually am putting together verses and letters in the midst of sermons or lessons, but this one was a little different because it was after the fact.
But, maybe….just maybe….God gave me this in spite of myself, in spite of my grump-itude, in spite of my distracted stubborn self to once again prove that God shows up each and every day and gives us everything we need – One. Day. At. A. Time!
